  On November 15, 2012 the media appreciation party was held the was aimed at giving
  media practitioners recognition and attention they deserve this covers both  Magazines
& Papers, Journalist & Writers , Websites & Bloggers & so many more .
As we know, without the media our voices and events happening around us will not be
known.

ROF opens new concept store, ROFHAUS, in Ikoyi, Lagos!

If simplified lines and subdued edges are considered modernistic, then ROFHAUS’ interior design style is the modern face of
Nigerian retail.
The renderings below provide a glimpse into Ikoyi’s newest daytime haunt! The ROFHAUS resembles a mash-up of Montauk’s Surf Lodge meets a New York Soho Loft. The interior is open, warm and light-filled with effective spatial planning and delicate colour nuances. White and lacquered-wood floors and walls, scarce furnishings, and simplistic décor create an atmosphere that is warm, inviting, and
interesting.
ROFHAUS serves as an intimate boutique, design workshop, and a graphic design studio.
Nigerian womenswear brand, ROF , created the Afropolitan iteration of minimalist design combining ideas of simplicity and functionality, and stripping back unnecessary
elements to create a comfortable retail environment.
They partnered with design firm, SparkCreative, to rebrand a space in the iconic Falomo Shopping Centre (which dates back to the 1970’s) and bring something ‘cool and vibey’ to the neighbourhood.
ROFHAUS’ first soft opening took place on Saturday 20, October.
The opening coincided with the release of ROF’s Fall 2012 Collection which is now in-store and
available for orders.

Fashion VS Music: The Maiden Event | Lagos | July 28th, 2012

MAP Media Consult brings to you Fashion vs. Music 2012 – The Maiden Edition. This is a show geared towards giving the budding talents in fashion and music to showcase what they’re about, and give people the chance to see beyond those music and fashion acts that are already at their peak.
It’s time to give the Generation X a chance to showcase their talents and express themselves freely in the best way they know how to – entertainment. This is the perfect avenue for it.

The event holds at Ember Creek on the 28th of July, with the red carpet starting off by 4pm. It promises to be an amazing show as budding young music talents such as Engager, Sledge, Isaac Geralds, Ekeng Bassey, Simi and upcoming designers like O’milua, Dadu Bajo, Jewelry house, Hauz of Beca, Laj clothing and many more will be showing off what they’re about.
